The staff covered by the agreement, approximately 4,100 in total, are represented by the Public Utilities Alliance of Canada and the YEU. The collective agreement covers everything from the posted work bonus to maternity leave and parental leave. Most government employees are there every day to do their jobs. Yukon College is a financial and office administrator every year. Someone from Ontario has that job. Our own youth leave us to find jobs for which many of these governments do not have new employees.
